About Me
I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and now live in Texas, USA. These are two completely different worlds, yet I feel blessed to have experienced both. In addition to running this business, I homeschool my 3 boys. Before my first son was born, I worked as a school-based occupational therapist (MS 1997), assisting children who had trouble functioning in the classroom. Since being home, I have discovered quilt shops and the beautiful fabrics they carry. You can find my favorite quilt shop here.
About Craft Apple
I enjoy designing creative items that are both beautiful and functional. I also enjoy the challenge of breaking down a project into manageable steps. It gives me great satisfaction to see others creating my designs for themselves! My first pattern for the Seamstress Apron in 2006 spun off into the creation of 2 more patterns in early 2007 and the patterns keep coming! My sewing studio is a converted bedroom in our home, thanks to a supportive husband.
I sew on a Bernina 440QE - a wonderful machine!
I hope you find fun, creative, easy-to-use patterns here!
